LT245/75R17 I bought these tires on Walmart. com June 2021 and had Walmart install with road hazard and lifetime balance, I returned to Walmart in April 2022 and was told I had a defective tire, that it was coming apart, I can see the fibers around the issue area and soft spongy for approximately 14 inches sounds like glue not sticking when I push around the bead area, Walmart told me it was a manufacturer defective tire and they included that on the work order and also told me to take tire and contact manufacturer which I did, I have spoken and also emailed with a Michael Dorr with Unicorn Tire. without any positive results only denied a claim. this tire needs to be Inspected and I want a new one, this for sure is defective.

PURCHASED 4 TRAVELSTAR UN99 205/55R16 91V STEEL BELTED RADIAL TIRES PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED. IN LESS THAN 20 MILES OF DRIVING, NOTICED BULGE ON FRONT DRIVER OUTER SIDEWALL, DRIECTLY ABOVE THE VALVE STEM. NO DAMAGE TO RIM, NOTHING WAS RUN OVER OR HIT. SELLER OF TIRES WAS AUTOPLICITY REFUSES TO DO ANYTHING, CITING THAT A BULGE ON THE SIDEWALL USUALLY OCCURS DUE TO A POSSIBLE ROAD HAZARD, IMPROPER INFLATION, EXCESSIVE LOAD IMPACT, OR AN INSTALLERS ERROR AND IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. THE SELLER DID NOT ASK FOR ANY PHOTOS PRIOR TO MAKING THIS DECISION. WE HAVECONTACTED AMAZON.COM, WHOM WAS THE DISTRIBUTOR FOR AUTOBLICITY. SHOULD THIS TIRE FAIL, THERE WOULD BE A LOSS OF CONTROL DUE TO ITS LOCATION OF THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE. THIS WOULD PUT BOTH THE DRIVER AND OTHER PERSONS IN THE AREA AT RISK. THIS BATCH OF TIRES NEEDS TO BE RECALLED.
Complaints are voluntarily submitted to the NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation and are not verified by NHTSA; they represent owner-reported problems, not proven defects. Counts can be useful as a relative quality signal across comparable tires or vehicles.

Travelstar eco mile mst: what the numbers tell you
Manufacturer treadwear data for the Eco Mile Mst is not publicly listed. This is common for OEM-only or track-day tires that don't carry a US treadwear warranty. No mileage warranty is published for this tire, which is typical for performance summer and track-day rubber where the manufacturer doesn't make wear-life claims.
Cabin noise data for this tire is not published by the manufacturer. As a general tire built for the passenger segment, the Eco Mile Mst is positioned against direct rivals within the same category. Comparing it to a tire in a different category (e.g. summer vs all-season) makes the spec sheet misleading because the design targets are not the same.
The Travelstar Eco Mile Mst has been part of Travelstar's catalog since its introduction, and remains a current-production model.
For an apples-to-apples comparison against direct rivals, see the comparison pages linked from this tire's brand index.
