BLOW OUT OF GOOD YEAR INTEGRITY TIRE. *LA CONSUMER EXPERIENCED TWO BLOW OUTS WITH GOODYEAR TIRES. CONSUMER DIDN'T KNOW WHO TO BLAME FOR THE BLOW OUTS, GOODYEAR OR FORD FOR EQUIPPING A VAN WITH A ONE PLY POLYESTER CORD IN THE SIDEWALL. *PH
PROBLEMS WITH GOODYEAR TIRE EQUIPMENT ON 1997 A PONTIAC GRAND AM.*MR THE VEHICLE CAME EQUIPPED WITH FIRESTONE TIRES, ONE OF THE TIRES EXPERIENCED A FLAT AND THE LOCAL TIRE SHOP RECOMMENDED REPLACEMENT OF ALL FOUR TIRES, GOODYEAR INTEGRITY XNW9608B TIRES WERE CHOSEN, AFTER ABOUT 100 MILES OF DRIVING, THE CONSUMER HEARD A STRANGE NOISE AND IT WAS DISCOVERED THE TIRE SHOWED SIGNS OF TREAD SEPARATION, 200 MILES LATER THE NOISE CAME BACK. *JB *NLM
GOODYEAR-INTEGRITY (P235/60R16) (99S) (025941) TIRES ON 2004 FORD FREESTAR. NOTICED THUMPING NOISE AT 10,000 MILES. SOUNDING LIKE YOU HAVE A FLAT. AT 19,000 TIRES ARE SHOWING OVERLAP OF TREAD. FORD DEALER TOLD US TO ROTATE TIRES. THIS HAS NOT RESOLVED PROBLEM. WE ARE AFRAID THAT THE TIRES ARE GOING TO SEPARATE AND CAUSE AN ACCIDENT.
DT: THE CONTACT STATED ALL FOUR GOODYEAR INTEGRITY TIRES ON 2004 TOYOTA PRIUS WORE OUT EVERY 20,000 MILES AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE THE VEHICLE HAD 23,000 MILES ON IT AND THE TIRES WERE WORN OUT AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. THE INNER AND OUTER TREAD WORE OUT BEFORE THE MIDDLE. THE TIRES HAVE BEEN REPLACED TWO MORE TIMES SINCE THEN. WHILE TRAVELING UP A MOUNTAIN, ON A 45 DEGREE ANGLE THE VEHICLE SLID BACKWARDS DUE TO THE WEAR. THE MANUFACTURER OF THE TIRES STATES IT WAS AN ALIGNMENT PROBLEM. THE MANUFACTURER OF THE VEHICLE STATED IT WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE TIRES. THE LAST SET OF TIRES PUT ON THE VEHICLE WERE OF A DIFFERENT GRADE, ACCORDING TO THE TIRE DEALERSHIP THE TIRES COULD NOT HANDLE THE WEIGHT OF THE VEHICLE.
