I have purchased a set of Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra (P 235 / 55 R 19 105 W XL front, P 255 / 50 R 19 107 W XL back) in August 2022 for my 2021 Volkswagen ID.4 Pro S RWD EV. After only 12,000 miles, tire dry rot started showing up in June 2023 on all tires. The tires have a 80,000 miles warranty so I don't know how come they started to dry rot only after 12,000 miles. If the tires fail while driving, this can be a severe safety hazard as the vehicle may lose control shall the tires fail.

Will have to swap soon before a major accident occurs due to tire failure and checking almost all the boxes that are below. I have no words to describe and neither does the firestone employee. I am attaching pictures. Chunks of tread are coming off from all around the tire. Inside, outside, 360 degree. In the picture you'll see how much tread there indeed is and see how deep the chunks are. This is a major safety issue. I have 2 other tires same model but from 2024 MFD without issue.
