THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED AT A HIGH SPEED WHILE IN CRUISE CONTROL. ADDITIONALLY, THE TIRES WERE WEARING OUT PREMATURELY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.

THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD FULL SIZE REPLACEMENT TO BALANCE AND REGULATE COMPUTER FOR NEW VEHICLE
2005 FORD FREESTYLE: DANGEROUS IN MILD WINTER WEATHER AND CONDITIONS. VEHICLE DOES NOT PERFORM IN WINTER WEATHER. VEHICLE SLIDES, SLIPS, GRINDING OF BRAKES AND BUCKING OF VEHICLE, VIBRATING OF STEERING WHEEL, ALL IN LESS THAN 3 INCHES OF SNOW. NO SNOW TIRES MADE FOR THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE ACCORDING TO DEALER AND NON-DEALER AFFILIATED VENDORS.

THE CONSUMER DISCOVERED THERE WERE NO SNOW TIRES DESIGNED FOR THE VEHICLE. THE CONSUMER WAS THEN INFORMED BY THE DEALERSHIP SNOW TIRES WERE AVAILABLE, HOWEVER THEY WERE ON NATIONAL BACK ORDER. THE CONSUMER STILL HAS NOT RECEIVED ANY SNOW TIRES. THE CONSUMER WAS TOLD THE TIRES ON THE VEHICLE WERE NOT A VERY AGGRESSIVE TREAD, BUT IT WAS RECOMMENDED NOT TO CHANGE THE TIRES.
