PURCHASED 4 NEW FIRESTONE WILDERNESS LE 265/70/16 TIRES IN JULY. WHILE DRIVING, NOTICED VIBRATING OF CAR AROUND 60 MPH. PULLED OVER AND INSPECTED TIRES. 3 OF THE 4 TIRES ARE MISSING LARGE CHUNKS OF TREAD. ONE OF THE TIRES HAS WIRES AND INNER TIRE EXPOSING CAUSING VIBRATION. UNACCEPTABLE.

THE NEXT DAY, THE STEERING WAS VIBRATING EVEN MORE, SO THE DEALER REPLACED AND BALANCED THE TIRES. THREE MONTHS LATER, THE STEERING VIBRATION HAD RETURNED. THE DEALER ROTATED THE TIRES. SEVEN MONTHS LATER, THE VIBRATION RETURNED AGAIN. THE DEALER BALANCED THE TIRES.
The tread came off on the freeway. The actual tire is still in tact. The tread flew off and ripped our bumper and quarter panel off. The back latch and window to open the vehicle to retrieve the spare no longer work. We are now concerned with the other tires quality and tread.
