How we ranked these tires for the nissan rogue
We started with the latest model-year's OEM tire size; 235/60R18; and filtered our catalog of 22,000+ tires to those offered in that exact size. From there, four parallel rankings:
- Best all-season ranks on a weighted score: tire type matches passenger car segment, season is "all-season", premium brand bonus (Michelin / Continental / Bridgestone / Pirelli / Goodyear / Nokian).
- Best budget ranks on cost-per-warranty-mile; the lower the better. Premium brands get no bonus here.
- Best quiet ranks on the EU tire-label dB rating; lower is quieter.
- Best winter filters to tires marked 3PMSF severe-snow rated or all-weather class, with a small premium-brand bonus because winter-compound R&D is capital-intensive.
For sedans and compacts, the all-season touring tire below is the best default; long warranty, low cabin noise, reasonable cost per mile. Switch to the quiet pick if highway droning is a deal-breaker; switch to the winter pick if you see significant snow each year. Use the side-by-side comparison above to weigh the trade-offs against your specific driving; highway-heavy, winter-state, performance-oriented, or budget-constrained.

HELLO: MY NAME IS [XXX] I AM THE PROUD OWNER OF A 2011 ROGUE WITH APPROXIMATELY 21,000 MILES. BUT I HAVE A VERY SERIOUS COMPLAINT SINCE I HAVE THE OWNED THE VEHICLE MY FIANCE HAS HAD TO TAKE OFF TO BRING THE CAR IN FOR THE TPMS SENSOR UNIT NEARLY EVERY OTHER MONTH SINCE OWNING THE VEHICLE. MY CONCERN IS THAT THIS COST THE FACTORY ON OR ABOUT $200.00 PER VISIT. WHEN THE WARRANTY ELAPSE IS NISSAN SAYING THIS WILL BE ON ME? IS THERE A CALL BACK ON THIS MALFUNCTION? IS THERE A RESOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM OR HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN ADDRESSED BEFORE SOMEONE IS FATALLY INJURED? THE DEALER IS SAYING THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM BUT WITHOUT AN RESOLUTION., JUST BRING IT IN. BUT THEY ARE NORMALLY REPLACING THE SENSOR UNIT EACH TIME. [XXX]S.C. 552(B)(6).
I PURCHASED A 2015 NISSAN ROGUE APRIL 2015 AND MY TIRES ARE NOW TREADED DOWN AND I HAD PASSAGE SIDE BACK TIRE BLOW OUT ON THE HIGH WAY ON 6/3/17. MILEAGE 16,400.00. HOW LONG YOUR BRAND TIRE LAST AND HOW CAN I REPORT A TIRES PROBLEM? TIRE # P215-70R16
THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 NISSAN ROGUE EQUIPPED WITH YOKOHAMA YK580 TIRES, SIZE: 225/60/R17 (NA). WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO VIBRATE. THE CONTACT CONTINUED DRIVING AND THE VIBRATION WORSENED. THE CONTACT COASTED THE VEHICLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND NOTICED A BRAKE CHECK AUTOMOBILE CENTER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE CENTER AND THE MECHANIC DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE HAD A BUBBLE WITH TREAD SEPARATION AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE TIRE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT LATER TOOK THE TIRE TO DISCOUNT TIRES (LOCATED ON 10331 BROADWAY ST, PEARLAND TX 77584) AND THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT SHE HAD GONE OVER THE MILEAGE FOR THE WARRANTY AND WAS SUPPOSED TO REPLACE THE TIRE AT 60,000 MILES. THE TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,389 AND THE VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 11,542.
I BOUGHT MICHELIN TIRES (PREMIER LTX- 225/65 R17 102H SL BSW GM) WITH WARRANTY OF 60K MILES. I DROVE 25K MILES AND IT IS WORE OUT. I BOUGHT THE MOST EXPENSIVE TIRES AS IT IS MY FAMILY CAR. I COMPLAINED TO MICHELIN AND THEY DON'T THINK IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE AS IT IS PRORATED WARRANTY IT IS NOT A GUARANTEE. THEY COULDN'T ANSWER THE QUESTION THAT IF I TRUST THAT THE TIRES WILL RUN AROUND 60K AND THEY NEED CHANGE AT AROUND 25 IS CONSIDERED A PRODUCT FAILURE OR NOT, THEY MENTIONED THAT THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT AND I HAVE TO CHANGE THE 4 TIRES. I WOULD LIKE TO ADDRESS IT AS A SAFETY ISSUE AS THE TIRES ARE NOT SAFE AS ADVERTISED. MY COMPLAINT NUMBER AT MICHELIN IS [XXX].S.C. 552(B)(6).
