I HAVE A 2010 CAMARO 2LT WITH 255-20FRONT AND 275-20REAR, AT AROUND 15K KILOMETERS I NOTICED A SLIGHT NOISE OF FRONT TIRES AND EFFECT ON THE STEERING, I FOUND A BIT LATER THAT THE PIRELLI P ZERO'S WERE STARTING TO CUP, I BROUGHT THE VEHICLE INTO MY GM DEALER AND THEY REPLACED THEM THROUGH WARRANTY, I HAD A FULL ALIGNMENT DONE, NOTHING WAS OUT OF LINE OR BALANCE. I AM ON MY 2ND SET OF FRONTS AND THEY ARE ALSO TOAST AT THE SAME MILEAGE INTERVAL. I AM NOT SURE IF THE TIRES ARE THE PROBLEM OR IF THE VEHICLES STEERING/SUSPENSION SYSTEM IS TO LIGHT TO HANDLE THE LARGE TIRES? WHEN I LOOK AT THE STEERING SYSTEM I AM HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS THAT THIS IS THE CASE. GM WOULD OF COURSE DENY THIS AND I CANNOT PROVE THIS UNTIL I CHANGE OVER TO ANOTHER SET OF TIRES. IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO FIND OUT IF THE STEERING BEING TOO LIGHT WOULD BE THE PROBLEM.

I BOUGHT 4 PIRELLI P4 P185/60R-15 TIRES. LESS THAN 6K MILES A TIRE BLEW OUT THE SIDEWALL. NOW AT 17K MILES ANOTHER TIRE HAS A BIG BUBBLE ON THE SIDEWALL. I AM TAKING THAT BACK TO DISCOUNT TIRE FOR A REPLACEMENT. I DID NOT HIT ANY POTHOLES AND I DRIVE SLOW. THIS IS SCARY.

Pirelli winter ice zero FR: what the numbers tell you

Manufacturer treadwear data for the Winter Ice Zero FR is not publicly listed. This is common for OEM-only or track-day tires that don't carry a US treadwear warranty. No mileage warranty is published for this tire, which is typical for performance summer and track-day rubber where the manufacturer doesn't make wear-life claims.

Cabin noise data for this tire is not published by the manufacturer. As a winter tire built for the truck-suv segment, the Winter Ice Zero FR is positioned against direct rivals within the same category. Comparing it to a tire in a different category (e.g. summer vs all-season) makes the spec sheet misleading because the design targets are not the same.
