THE CONTACT STATED THAT UPON INSPECTION, IT WAS FOUND THAT ALL FOUR TIRES WERE DRY ROTTEN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC WHERE THE FAILURE WAS CONFIRMED. THE TIRES WERE NOT REPLACED. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD F-150. THE VEHICLE WAS EQUIPPED WITH PIRELLI TIRE SCORPION STR TIRES, TIRE SIZE 275/55/20. (NA) THE DOT NUMBER WAS XL4BJ9248610. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH, A CLICKING AND POPPING NOISED EMITTED OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS MERGED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WHERE THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER'S SIDE TIRE EXPLODED. THE TIRE WAS REPLACED WITH A SPARE TIRE. ALSO, THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE OTHER THREE TIRES ON THE VEHICLE EXHIBITED SEVERE TREAD SEPARATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. HOWEVER, THE DEFECTIVE TIRES WERE NOT REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,434 OF THE VEHICLE AND TIRES.

P245/45/21 pirelli scorpion AS NCS sidewall on 3 tires has large bubble after 14,600 miles. Hyundai dealer advised of findings. Replaced tires at my cost. Many problems reported on this issue for the Hyundai Santa Fe 2025 Calligraphy model. No other tires options available to fix this on going problem.

I HAVE RECENTLY HAD 3 DEFECTIVE PIRELLI SCORPION STR TIRES. ALL 3 "BUBBLED" FOR NO APPARENT REASON. I BELIEVE THESE TIRES ARE DEFECTIVE. I HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN GETTING THE TIRES REPLACED. THE DEALER IS SENDING THEM BACK TO THE MANUFACTURE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE.
