What owners described

Blowout or sudden deflation appears in 50% of these reports; about 2.5× as often as across all tire complaints. Percentages are shares of the 14 reports filed against the Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season across every vehicle it was fitted to that include a written account; a single report can describe more than one problem, so they do not total 100%.

In owners' own words

Verbatim excerpts from complaints filed with NHTSA about Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season. Reports are published by NHTSA as filed and are lightly cleaned here only to remove intake codes.

Three (Right Front & Rear, Left Rear) of four factory-installed Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season tires (255/40R21, DOT 1XB RM582P 3923) are exhibiting tread block chunking, cracking, and physical material separation. All four tires share an identical DOT code from a single production run. Failure modes include lateral cracks across multiple tread blocks, physical loss of tread block material in multiple locations, and one tire with a deep tread void consistent with delamination. At 36,176 miles on a 2024 vehicle, this level of structural failure represents a safety hazard. The tread separation creates risk of sudden air loss or blowout at highway speed. I am aware of other NHTSA complaints filed for this exact tire size and model describing identical failure modes. I am requesting NHTSA investigate whether a safety defect exists in this production batch.

NHTSA complaint 2187256

Complaints are voluntarily submitted to the NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation and are not verified by NHTSA; they represent owner-reported problems, not proven defects. Counts can be useful as a relative quality signal across comparable tires or vehicles.

Pirelli scorpion zero all season: what the numbers tell you

Manufacturer treadwear data for the Scorpion Zero All Season is not publicly listed. This is common for OEM-only or track-day tires that don't carry a US treadwear warranty. No mileage warranty is published for this tire, which is typical for performance summer and track-day rubber where the manufacturer doesn't make wear-life claims.

Cabin noise data for this tire is not published by the manufacturer. As a general tire built for the passenger segment, the Scorpion Zero All Season is positioned against direct rivals within the same category. Comparing it to a tire in a different category (e.g. summer vs all-season) makes the spec sheet misleading because the design targets are not the same.
