HAD 4 NEW TIRES. WHILE TRAVELING ON ROAD RIGHT FRONT TIRE EXPLODED,THROWING VEHICLE BETWEEN RAILING OF RAILROAD 7 ASPHALT. VEHICLE WENT INTO 4-WHEEL DRIVE & BECAME STUCK. WENT BACK TO TIRE DEALER & TOLD NO LONGER SELL TIRES (NATIONAL RADIAL XT4000 SIZE P235/75415) & NOTHING CAN BE DONE.
THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA ODYSSEY EQUIPPED WITH NATIONAL OVATION PLUS (NA) TIRES, SIZE: 235/65R/16 (NA). WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED SEVERE VIBRATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DISCOVERED THAT ALL FOUR TIRES WERE DAMAGED AND DRY ROTTED. NO FURTHER INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VIN AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE UNKNOWN.
NATIONAL COMMANDO TIRE SIZE: LT235/85R16. PLEASE PROVIDE DOT #) ON 1987, FORD, F250, EXPERIENCED TREAD SEPARATION WHILE TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH. ALSO, NOTICED ON A DIFFERENT TIRE ON THE VEHICLE, THAT THERE WERE THREADS OF CABLES UNDER TREAD OF THE TIRE COMING OUT THROUGH SIDEWALL. PLEASE SPECIFY WHICH TIRES (LOCATION) ARE DEFECTIVE AND PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/ATTACHMENTS/PHOTOGRAPHS.
DT: THE CONSUMER STATESDTHE TIRES WERE PURCHASED ON APRIL 23, 2005. THEY SPLIT IN HALF AND CHUNKS WERECOMING OUT OF THE TIRES. ALL FOUR OF THE TIRES WERE HAVING THIS PROBLEM. WIRE WAS COMING OUT OF THE TIRES. THE AIR PRESSURE IWAS CHECKED. THE SHOCKS AND STRUTS HAVE BEEN CHECKED TO MAKE SURE THIS WAS NOT THE PROBLEM. THESE TIRES STARTED FALLING APART AT APPROXIMATELY 1,000 MILES.
