In owners' own words

Goodyear Wrangler Trailrunner AT, LT275/65R20, factory installed on a 2020 GMC Sierra Denali 3500. While traveling 60 mph pulling a fifth wheel in South Texas on a clear and dry day, the rear passenger tire unexpectedly lost its tread. As we slowed down, it completely lost tire pressure and we ran on the rim until coming to a complete stop. Immediately prior to the incident, the TPMS and other safety systems in the truck read normal. There were no system warnings and no objects in the road. It put us in a dangerous situation as we were stopped on the shoulder of the highway right before a bridge and had our 3 children in the backseat. We called the police, but they never sent anyone to help with traffic. The rear fender and the wheel well of the truck were badly damaged. We have the faulty tire and it is available for inspection.
LT275/65R20 At 36000 miles a back driver side tire had a belt separation. At 41000 miles back passenger side had a belt seperation. These tires came on the truck when I bought it and they are Goodyear Wrangler tires and I think it is a safety issue.
275/55R20 Goodyear Wrangler literally exploded while driving on I-40 East Bound in New Mexico on 2/21/23 at approximately 9 AM. Roadway was dry and clear of any debris. Shredded tire caused extensive damage to underside of truck bed, wheel and side of bed. Original Equipment tire with 45,824 miles and 8/32 remaining tread,- dealer had in demo service prior to my purchase. I am the original retail owner Tire was inflated to 40 PSI at time of failure. Tires have been rotated on regular basis by local Ford dealer and show no unusual signs of wear. Tire and wheel are still in my possession and available for inspection. Goodyear was notified of this failure 3/8/23 via email and photos provided - no response to date. I was able to steer the vehicle to the shoulder and install the spare tire.
The contact owns a 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 equipped with Goodyear Tires, Tire Line: Wrangler Trail Runner, Tire Size: LT275/65/R20), DOT Number: (NA). The contact stated that while driving approximately 40-45 MPH, the vehicle exhibited the death wobble, causing the vehicle to become difficult to steer. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer to have the wheels aligned; however, the contact was informed of tread separation on the front driver's side tire, and that the driver's side rear tire had bubbles. The contact was informed that the passenger's side front and rear had bubbles as well. The tires were replaced with a different brand tire. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 29,400.
Complaints are voluntarily submitted to the NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation and are not verified by NHTSA; they represent owner-reported problems, not proven defects. Counts can be useful as a relative quality signal across comparable tires or vehicles.

Goodyear wrangler TrailRunner AT: what the numbers tell you
Manufacturer treadwear data for the Wrangler TrailRunner AT is not publicly listed. This is common for OEM-only or track-day tires that don't carry a US treadwear warranty. No mileage warranty is published for this tire, which is typical for performance summer and track-day rubber where the manufacturer doesn't make wear-life claims.
Cabin noise data for this tire is not published by the manufacturer. As a general tire built for the passenger segment, the Wrangler TrailRunner AT is positioned against direct rivals within the same category. Comparing it to a tire in a different category (e.g. summer vs all-season) makes the spec sheet misleading because the design targets are not the same.
A tough, dependable tire with a hardworking combination of on- and off-road performance.
