BOUGHT A SET OF FEDERAL COURAGIA MT'S ABOUT FIVE MONTHS AGO STILL ABOUT 95% TREAD WHEN TWO OF THE TIRES SPLIT GOING DOWN THE INTERSTATE. I HAVE READ ALL OVER THE INTERNET ABOUT THIS HAPPENING TO OTHER PEOPLE WITH THIS TIRE IN ALL DIFFERENT SIZES. I ALSO TOOK THE TIRES BACK TO THE COMPANY I PURCHASED THEM FROM ANS THEY HAVE HAD A FEW SETS BROUGHT BACK IN THE PAST MONTH. FEDERAL SO FAR HAS REFUSED TO CREDIT ANYONE FOR THE ISSUE. THE TIRES ARE CLEARLY DEFECTIVE AND NEED TO HE RECALLED BEFORE SOMEONE GETS PHYSICALLY HURT DRIVING ON THEM.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE TREAD BECAME SEPARATED FROM THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO A TIRE SHOP WHERE THE TECHNICIAN REPLACED ALL FOUR TIRES. THE CONTACT EMAILED THE MANUFACTURER BUT HAD NOT RECEIVED A RESPONSE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE OF THE TIRE WAS 7,800. THE VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 139,000. THE DOT NUMBER WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
