FEDERAL COURAGIA M/T LT265/70R17E TIRES PURCHASED JAN2013. TWO TIRES HAD BELT SEPARATE IN MAY2014. THE FIRST TWO TIRES WERE REPLACED BY MY LOCAL TIRE SHOP. ANOTHER TIRE SUFFERED COMPLETE TREAD SEPARATION ON JUNE2014. THE LOCAL TIRE SHOP ASSURED ME THAT THEY WILL ALSO REPLACE THE TIRE THAT CAME APART AND ASKED ME TO PROVIDE BODY ESTIMATES TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE TIRE SO THEY CAN SUBMIT THEM TO TIRE DISTRIBUTOR. THE TIRES HAVE APPROX. 15,000 MILES ON THEM. THESE TIRES ARE INSTALLED ON A 2007 FORD F-350 4X4 WITH A 5.4L GAS ENGINE. THE TIRES ARE PEELING OFF AS IF THEY WERE RECAPPED TIRES BUT THEY ARE NOT RECAPS.

Federal couragia A/T: what the numbers tell you

Manufacturer treadwear data for the Couragia A/T is not publicly listed. This is common for OEM-only or track-day tires that don't carry a US treadwear warranty. No mileage warranty is published for this tire, which is typical for performance summer and track-day rubber where the manufacturer doesn't make wear-life claims.

Cabin noise data for this tire is not published by the manufacturer. As a general tire built for the passenger segment, the Couragia A/T is positioned against direct rivals within the same category. Comparing it to a tire in a different category (e.g. summer vs all-season) makes the spec sheet misleading because the design targets are not the same.

The Federal Couragia A/T has been part of Federal's catalog since its introduction, and remains a current-production model.

For an apples-to-apples comparison against direct rivals, see the comparison pages linked from this tire's brand index.
