REGULAR DRIVING, IN TOWN, TREAD BLOW OUT, RIGHT REAR, HIGHWAY DRIVING,RIGHT REAR SIDE WALL, FRONT RIGHT TREAD FAILURE, REPLACED BEFORE COMPLETE BLOW OUT, ONE TIRE WAS NEW, TWO TIRES LESS THAN 90 DAYS OLD, REPLACED WITH NEW AND DIFFERENT BRAND.
I PURCHASED 4 NEW DOUGLAS EXTRA-TRAK II TIRES AT WALMART AND WITHIN ONLY A FEW MONTHS WAS HAVING MAJOR "ALIGNMENT" TYPE ISSUES. I THOUGHT MAYBE THE TIRES NEEDED TO BE BALANCED AND ROTATED AND HAVE THE PRESSURE CHECKED. WALMART TECH HAD ONE OF MY TIRES THAT WAS A FEW LBS LOW AND IT BLEW OUT AFTER HE PUT IT BACK UP TO APPROPRIATE LEVELS. BLOW OUT WAS OUT THE SIDE AND NOT VISIBLE FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE TIRE. OTHER SIDE BULGES WERE FOUND ON THE OTHER TIRES. SINCE THE TIRES HAD BEEN DRIVEN, WALMART ONLY GAVE ME A "DISCOUNT" ON REPLACING THE ONE THAT BLEW OUT - THE OTHERS WERE MY PROBLEM ACCORDING TO THEM. THESE TIRES ARE OBVIOUSLY DEFECTIVE AND NOT SAFE.
I BOUGHT FOUR DOUGLAS PERFORMANCE GT-H 185/60-14 DOT PJF8 1YLR FROM WAL-MART. THESE TIRES ARE MADE BY GOODYEAR IN USA. WHEN THEY PUT THEM ON THE RIM A BOLT WAS FOUND MOLDED IN THE SIDEWALL AFTER IT WAS NOTICE NOT TO HOLD AIR. IT'S A GOOD THING IT DID NOT HOLD AIR CAUSE I'D HATE TO FIND THAT AT INTERSTATE SPEED. THE TIRE ALSO HAD CHALK MARKS SMEARED OFF THE SIDE. SO SOMEONE AT THE FACTORY PROBABLY NOTICED IT WAS BAD AND ANOTHER INSPECTOR OK'ED IT TO BE SOLD. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THEY DROPPED A BOLT IN THE MOLD.
Douglas all seasons is usually sold in Walmart is a good brand but there's some times that are just goes out of it completely when it hits a tire or nail and can cause a major accident and doing the time whenever the potholes you can barely feel if your tire has air in it and another thing is very hard to get that tire off of your vehicle and you have to be to have a special tool or something like that in order to take that tire off and it don't always erupt with a regular air pump outside and you have to try to rush to a detour somewhere to get are so I kind of feel like it's an inconvenience having that type of tire or vehicle I usually purchase for room they run between the amount of $55 all the way up to 65 what tire rotation I think the warranty is up to like 3 months the warranty is up to 3 months or a year depending on how much you spend
Complaints are voluntarily submitted to the NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation and are not verified by NHTSA; they represent owner-reported problems, not proven defects. Counts can be useful as a relative quality signal across comparable tires or vehicles.

Douglas all season: what the numbers tell you
Manufacturer treadwear data for the All Season is not publicly listed. This is common for OEM-only or track-day tires that don't carry a US treadwear warranty. No mileage warranty is published for this tire, which is typical for performance summer and track-day rubber where the manufacturer doesn't make wear-life claims.
Cabin noise data for this tire is not published by the manufacturer. As a general tire built for the passenger segment, the All Season is positioned against direct rivals within the same category. Comparing it to a tire in a different category (e.g. summer vs all-season) makes the spec sheet misleading because the design targets are not the same.
The Douglas All Season has been part of Douglas's catalog since its introduction, and remains a current-production model.
