In owners' own words

THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 HONDA ACCORD EQUIPPED WITH BRIDGESTONE POTENZA G109 GRID TIRES, SIZE P205/60/R16. THE CONTACT STATED THAT UPON INSPECTION, IT WAS FOUND THAT THE TIRES WERE CRACKED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE AND TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
I STOPPED TO HAVE MY TIRE PRESSURE CHECKED AND THE MECHANICS WERE VERY CONCERNED WITH THE PASSENGER TIRE'S SIDEWALL SEPARATING FROM THE BODY OF THE TIRE. THEY HIGHLY SUGGESTED THEY REPLACE THE TIRE WITH THE DOUGHNUT SPARE EVEN THOUGH I WAS ONLYB10 MILES FROM HOME. AFTER INSPECTION OF THE OTHER TIRES THE BACK PASSENGER TIRE WAS ALSO BEGINNING TO SEPARATE. THESE TIRES ONLY HAVE 20,000 MILES.
VEHICLE WAS UNABLE TO PASS INSPECTION DUE TO TIRE (TREAD) SEPARATION ON ALL 4 BRIDGESTONE POTENZA 'S INSPECTOR POINTED OUT THAT ALL 4 TIRES WERE CRACKED THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE CIRCUMFERENCE ON ALL 4 TIRES AND DANGEROUS/HAZARDOUS TO DRIVE ON. HAD TO PURCHASE NEW TIRES IN ORDER TO PASS INSPECTION... HAVE TAKEN PHOTOS OF ALL THE TIRES... TIRES WERE PURCHASED IN OCT, 2010 AND REPLACED IN NOV, 2015 -- TIRE HAD A TOTAL OF 24,183 MILES ON IT... AND STILL HAS PLENTY OF TREAD LEFT.
THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 MAZDA 6 WITH A SET OF BRIDGESTONE POTENZA REPLACEMENT TIRES, G019 GRID, LINE SIZE 215/50R17XL95V. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO RIDE ROUGHLY ON THE DRIVER SIDE. SHE DISCOVERED THAT THE REAR DRIVER SIDE TIRE SIDEWALL WAS FRACTURED AND THE TIRE WAS LOSING PRESSURE. THE CONTACT STATED SHE DID NOT STRIKE ANY OBJECT THAT WOULD HAVE CAUSED THE FAILURE. THE DEALER ADVISED THEY WERE NOT LIABLE FOR THE TIRE YET ADVISED THE CONTACT TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN FOR FURTHER EXAMINATION. THE CONTACT STATED SHE WOULD HAVE AN INVESTIGATOR EXAMINE THE TIRES BEFORE TAKING THEM TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE TIRE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 87,891.
Complaints are voluntarily submitted to the NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation and are not verified by NHTSA; they represent owner-reported problems, not proven defects. Counts can be useful as a relative quality signal across comparable tires or vehicles.

Bridgestone potenza G019 grid: what the numbers tell you
Manufacturer treadwear data for the Potenza G019 Grid is not publicly listed. This is common for OEM-only or track-day tires that don't carry a US treadwear warranty. No mileage warranty is published for this tire, which is typical for performance summer and track-day rubber where the manufacturer doesn't make wear-life claims.
Cabin noise data for this tire is not published by the manufacturer. As a general tire built for the passenger segment, the Potenza G019 Grid is positioned against direct rivals within the same category. Comparing it to a tire in a different category (e.g. summer vs all-season) makes the spec sheet misleading because the design targets are not the same.
The Bridgestone Potenza G019 Grid has been part of Bridgestone's catalog since its introduction, and remains a current-production model.
For an apples-to-apples comparison against direct rivals, see the comparison pages linked from this tire's brand index.
