NOW HAVE TO GO BACK TOMORROW AS ALL 4 TIRES ARE SHAKING UNCONTROLLABLY EVEN THE NEW ONES!! BELTS WERE SEPARATED TOO ON INSIGNIAS SHAME ON B'STONE FOR ALL THE TREAD LEFT TO HAVE MANUF. SUCH A POOR TIRE!!!!!!! 2005 BUICK LESABRE DOT#WBM3E201711. 183,000 MILES ON CAR NOW BUT ALL HIGHWAY MILEAGE.
THE CONTACT OWNS A 1998 MERCEDES BENZ 320. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TREAD CAME OFF OF THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH. THE CONTACT NEARLY LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE TIRE TREAD DAMAGED THE BACK OF THE VEHICLE AND THE PASSENGER DOOR. THE ESTIMATED REPAIR COST WAS $6000. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THE CONTACT TO MAIL THE BRIDGESTONE INSIGNIA,TIRE SIZE 225/60/R16 TO THEM FOR A REFUND; HOWEVER, THE MANUFACTURER RESPONDED VIA MAIL THAT THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGES TO HER VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE TIRE MILEAGE WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 185,000.
THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN EQUIPPED WITH BRIDGESTONE INSIGNIA SE200 15/65/R16 DOT 5056VE203709. THE TIRES WERE GUARANTEED FOR 65,000 MILES BUT THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TREAD SEPARATED WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 75 MPH WITH 24,000 MILES ON THEM. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 24,000.
I HAVE 4 BRIDGESTONE INSIGNIA TIRES. NOT SURE OF MILEAGE BUT I WILL GO BACK TO THE DEALER ON MONDAY TO CONFIRM, HOWEVER I WILL GUESS ABOUT 25K TO 35K. THE TREAD LOOKS VERY GOOD. I HAVE STEEL WIRES COMING OUT OF THE SIDEWALL. THERE ARE ABOUT A DOZENS WIRES BETWEEN 2" AND 8" HANGING OUT. I NOTICED IT BECAUSE YOU CAN HEAR THE WIRES SLAPPING THE FENDER AND TIRE WELL AS ROTATION OCCURS. I HOPE THE FACTORY RESPONDS IN A POSITIVE WAY, WE WILL SEE. [XXX]S.C. 552(B)(6).
Complaints are voluntarily submitted to the NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation and are not verified by NHTSA; they represent owner-reported problems, not proven defects. Counts can be useful as a relative quality signal across comparable tires or vehicles.

Bridgestone insignia SE200: what the numbers tell you
Manufacturer treadwear data for the Insignia SE200 is not publicly listed. This is common for OEM-only or track-day tires that don't carry a US treadwear warranty. No mileage warranty is published for this tire, which is typical for performance summer and track-day rubber where the manufacturer doesn't make wear-life claims.
Cabin noise data for this tire is not published by the manufacturer. As a general tire built for the passenger segment, the Insignia SE200 is positioned against direct rivals within the same category. Comparing it to a tire in a different category (e.g. summer vs all-season) makes the spec sheet misleading because the design targets are not the same.
The Bridgestone Insignia SE200 has been part of Bridgestone's catalog since its introduction, and remains a current-production model.
For an apples-to-apples comparison against direct rivals, see the comparison pages linked from this tire's brand index.
