In owners' own words

Verbatim excerpts from complaints filed with NHTSA about Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25. Reports are published by NHTSA as filed and are lightly cleaned here only to remove intake codes.

THIS WAS NOT A BLIZZAK LM-25. IT WAS A BLIZZAK LM-60. TWICE WITHIN A YEAR, I'VE HAD MY REAR TIRE TREAD COMPLETELY SEPARATE FROM THE BEADS, SPLITTING ALL THE WAY AROUND ON THE INNER AND OUTER SIDEWALLS. THE FIRST TIME WAS ON THE PASSENGER REAR WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AT 75 MPH. IT BLEW OFF AND WENT ROLLING BESIDE AND BEHIND THE VEHICLE OFF TO THE RIGHT HAND SHOULDER. THE CAR WAS PULLED OFF THE FREEWAY WITH SOME DAMAGE OCCURRING TO THE INNER TIRE WHEEL WELL. THE SECOND TIME OCCURRED DRIVING DOWN A RESIDENTIAL ROAD, AFTER RECENTLY EXITING THE FREEWAY. THIS TIME IT WAS THE DRIVER'S REAR. WHILE IT SEPARATED, I HEARD AND FELT IT AND PULLED TO THE CURB. THIS TIME THERE WAS DAMAGE DONE TO THE WHEEL WELL AS WELL AS THE BODY TRIM THE GOES FROM THE FRONT TO THE REAR WHEEL WELLS BENEATH THE DOORS. I HAVE PICTURES.

Bridgestone blizzak LM-25: what the numbers tell you

Manufacturer treadwear data for the Blizzak LM-25 is not publicly listed. This is common for OEM-only or track-day tires that don't carry a US treadwear warranty. No mileage warranty is published for this tire, which is typical for performance summer and track-day rubber where the manufacturer doesn't make wear-life claims.

Cabin noise data for this tire is not published by the manufacturer. As a general tire built for the passenger segment, the Blizzak LM-25 is positioned against direct rivals within the same category. Comparing it to a tire in a different category (e.g. summer vs all-season) makes the spec sheet misleading because the design targets are not the same.

The Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25 has been part of Bridgestone's catalog since its introduction, and remains a current-production model.

For an apples-to-apples comparison against direct rivals, see the comparison pages linked from this tire's brand index.
