I PURCHASED BRIDGESTONE DUELER ALENZA HL TIRES AT 42509 ON 06/10/2009 AND ON 04/10/2011 I HAD A SLOW LEAK AND WENT TO BRIDGESTONE DEALER FOR REPAIR BUT NOTICED CRACKING IN TREAD. I WAS TOLD THIS WAS NORMAL! IN MAY 2013 MY MECHANIC SAID THIS CRACKING WAS DRY ROT AND I VERIFIED WITH OTHER TIRE DEALER TRUCK HAD 70693 MILE. THIS IS A 65000 MILE TIRE AND I ONLY HAD 14000 MILES BEFORE CRACKING STARTED- THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD. I DID NOT GO BACK TO BRIDGESTONE DEALER BECAUSE I WAS GIVEN INACCURATE INFO AND I BOUGHT MICHELIN INSTEAD. I CALLED BRIDGESTONE AND THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO AND "HAVE A NICE DAY."!!!! GOOD LUCK IF YOU BUY THESE!
I RECENTLY PURCHASED NEW TIRES AUGUST 14. ON AUGUST 30TH MY RIGHT FRONT TIRE WENT FLAT AS I WAS PUTTING AIR IN THE TIRE I NOTICED A KNOT AND AIR COMING OUT FROM THE RIM.I HAD THE TIRE REPLACED THIS PAST SATURDAY SEPT 14TH ON SEPT 17TH THE TIRE I HAD REPLACED DID THE SAME THING.
THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 GMC SIERRA 1500 EQUIPPED WITH HANKOOK DYNAPRO TIRES SIZE LT 265/70 R17. THE CONTACT STATED THAT UPON INSPECTION, IT WAS FOUND THAT THERE WAS A BULGE IN THE PASSENGER REAR TIRE'S SIDEWALL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS FOUND THAT THE TIRE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED ABOUT THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 96,800. THE DOT NUMBER AND VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
