THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD MUSTANG EQUIPPED WITH 4 GOODYEAR GT TIRES, SIZE: 234/45/17. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 70 MPH WHEN THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE FAILED. THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND CRASHED INTO A GUARDRAIL. THE POLICE WERE NOTIFIED AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE TIRES WERE INSPECTED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHO INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE TIRE TREAD WAS 10/32. THE TIRE WAS NOT REPLACED AND THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE INCIDENT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE OF THE VEHICLE WAS 75,294. THE TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
THIS CAR HAS 26,600 MILES ON IT AND THE PIRELLI P ZERO NERO ALL SEASON RADIAL TIRES ARE SEPARATING BETWEEN THE TREADS. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON ALL FOUR TIRES. THE TIRES SAY THEY WERE MADE IN BRAZIL AND SHOW THIS - P 235/50 ZR1897W.

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 22,000.
