How we ranked these tires for the lexus RX

We started with the latest model-year's OEM tire size; 235/60R19; and filtered our catalog of 22,000+ tires to those offered in that exact size. From there, four parallel rankings:

For sedans and compacts, the all-season touring tire below is the best default; long warranty, low cabin noise, reasonable cost per mile. Switch to the quiet pick if highway droning is a deal-breaker; switch to the winter pick if you see significant snow each year. Use the side-by-side comparison above to weigh the trade-offs against your specific driving; highway-heavy, winter-state, performance-oriented, or budget-constrained.

4 new tyres were installed by Firestone but driver side wore out despite balancing rotation, alignment performed during install. TyrePlus sister concern replaced with new tyre and prorated as the tyre was at fault. Same tyre blew out on the road. The tread, side all etc damaged the wire harness and car went out of control causing damage to suspension and fuel tank. Fuel began to leak. Car is toatled due to several other damages. TyrePlus does not want to take ownership. However they have all records of up to date maintenance. They referred me to Bridgestone wherein I need to submit 2 estimates. Tyre purchase dates maintenence etc. I have secured the tread and parts of the tyre which blew out and they want me to submit that. I am hesitatnt to submit it as they may tamper with the proof I have to fix it.

235/65r18 tire. I was driving on the highway and all of a sudden it was a loud noise and immediate tire noise. I struggled to slow the vehicle down and pull to the side of the road The tire is absolutely destroyed both on the inside and the outside side walls of the tire. I could have had a horrible accident because the car was completely out of control when the tire blew

We bought the brand new Lexus (RX450H) back in 2022 (Vin [XXX] ). As of today, February 03, 2025, the mileage on the car is 20,125 miles. The OEM tire size was 235/55R20, all the 4 tires were Bridgestone Ecopia H/L [XXX]. Recently, one of the wheels exploded when it passed a pothole, the tire was damaged and the rim was bent/cracked as well. I brought one tire, same brand and size, and installed it to the new Lexus rim. The installer told me that these tires were "Recalled" and suggested to replace all 4 tires ASAP. I Google and found these recalled tires as well. As of now, couple other tires keep leaking air as well.S.C. 552(B)(6)

FAQ

What's the best all-season tire for the Lexus RX?
The all-season touring slate above ranks the top options for the 235/60R19 OEM size. The leader is selected by matching lexus-segment fitment, all-season compound class, and premium-brand quality bonus. For most Lexus RX owners, the all-season touring pick is the best one-tire compromise; long warranty, low noise, reasonable cost per mile.
Should I get a cheaper tire for my Lexus RX?
The budget slate above ranks tires by cost-per-warranty-mile, ignoring brand premium. The budget pick is genuinely competitive on durability metrics; the trade-off is shorter warranty and slightly higher cabin noise, not actual safety risk. If you drive less than 15,000 miles a year, the budget pick will outlast your replacement window regardless.
Does the Lexus RX need winter tires?
If you see more than 5 snow days a year or drive at sustained temperatures below 7 °C, yes; winter compounds stay pliable in cold where all-season rubber hardens, which translates directly to shorter braking distances. The winter pick above is 3PMSF severe-snow rated and works for the 235/60R19 OEM fitment. Storage cost is real (4 extra tires somewhere), but the safety margin in winter conditions is substantial.
Can I run a different tire size on my Lexus RX?
Plus-size and minus-size alternatives within ±3% overall diameter are typically safe per the ETRTO standard. See the 235/60R19 upsize options for the full categorised alternatives table with verdicts.
Where can I buy these tires?
Each tire links to its detail page with live pricing from our online retailer partners. Out-the-door cost (including mount, balance, TPMS service, and disposal) varies by state; use the install cost calculator for a realistic estimate.
